Delete it in the app
- Open Word Quran and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Privacy & data.
- Choose Delete account, then Delete my account.
- Sign in again if asked, using a sign-in method available for your account. Deletion needs a fresh sign-in so nobody else can delete your account.
You can request an export of your data on the same screen first.
If you can’t open the app
Write to support@wordquran.app with the subject “Delete my Word Quran account”. Send it from your recovery email if you added one, or tell us the name on your profile. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before we delete it. Never send a password, passkey recovery code or payment details.
What is deleted
Your profile, learning progress, saved words, rewards, sign-in credentials, sessions and recovery email. Reports you sent or that concern your account are also removed. Any data export that is waiting for you stops working.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups can hold a copy for up to 30 days, until they expire.
- Purchase ownership: a restricted record of a store purchase stays while that purchase can still be restored, so it can’t be moved to someone else’s account. It keeps no learning profile or email.
- Operational and security logs are kept for a short period to run and protect the service.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store, in the account that made the purchase.
Learning without an account
If you learned as a guest, your progress is stored only on your device. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app removes it.
More detail is in our Privacy policy.
